How much of my donation goes directly to Rady Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House Charities?

A Dose of Hope (ADOH) is currently operating at an 80/20 charitable percentage. This means that 80% of every dollar donated to ADOH (non trailer events) is granted to Rady Children’s Hospital. Net proceeds of every dollar donated to ADOH via our trailer events, is granted to Rady Children’s Hospital and a variety of local charities and organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities. There are many charities out there running at 80/20, how is A Dose of Hope any different?

As shown in the chart above, when you donate to ADOH your initial donation will generate increased grants to Rady Children’s Hospital as well as multiple charities throughout our community, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

For example, when you donate to an 80/20 charity, they designate 80% to the charity and 20% for administration fees.

When donating to ADOH, 80% will still be granted to Rady Children’s Hospital. The 20% for administration fees will now allow us to operate our unique mobile yogurt trailer that will earn additional donations at local charitable events. 100% of all additional donations (less expenses, if any) will be granted to Rady Children’s Hospital, as well as multiple charities throughout our community, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This opportunity wouldn’t exist without your donation to ADOH.

Other than the administration fees for ADOH, would their be any additional ADMIN fees deducted from my donation?

Absolutely NOT! All donations to ADOH are granted to our charities, so no additional administration fees can be deducted from your donation.

Do you have corporate sponsorship opportunities?

YES! Anyone interested in corporate sponsorship opportunities can contact us directly via our web-site. This includes corporate logo opportunities located on our custom 24’event trailer, vehicle, web-site, print material, media outlets and much more. Corporate sponsors will also have the exclusive, yet rare opportunity to sponsor a specific ADOH trailer event where their logo will be showcased on all yogurt bowls, napkins, etc... Being a 100% tax write-off is only icing on the cake for any ADOH sponsor!

Why did you start ADOH?

As we all know, health care costs are going to increase greatly in 2011. Rady Children’s Hospital will need tremendous support in order to continue to serve our community. ADOH is truly setting the bar on charitable support and we feel that helping children in need was truly our call to duty.

What about fundraising events?

ADOH plans on having 3-4 traditional fundraising events each year. So, on top of all the never before seen benefits above, we will have exciting fundraising functions such as golf tournaments, sporting events, concerts, 5k walks, etc…. all over and above our goal of (50) trailer events each year!
