Serving up Hope… the Healthy Way!

It was a rainy October afternoon that Jim Jones and Wayne Bosna will never forget. While walking the halls of Rady Children’s Hospital during a full facility tour, they witnessed first hand just how many illnesses and challenges face our children today. Their mission was obvious and simply the right thing to do, create an organization to bring hope to thousands of children in need and their families, while doing everything possible to support Rady Children’s Hospital as well as a variety of local charities and organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

A year later "A Dose of Hope" (ADOH) was finalized by Jim Jones, Wayne Bosna and Dylan Natter, whom all share a sincere desire to make a difference with every child possible. ADOH is a unique mobile outreach charity that was created to spread the word about helping children in need while adding additional value to every dollar you donate (see the "WHY DONATE" page to better understand how ADOH adds increased value to every donation they receive). Their custom frozen yogurt trailer will serve to educate the public on the importance of health and nutrition. Donations for the charity are gratefully accepted at all on-site trailer events, fundraising events and via their web-site. Net proceeds  will be granted to Rady Children’s Hospital, as well as multiple charities and organizations throughout the community, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

In order to fully support their cause, ADOH will also offer traditional fundraising events such as golf tournaments, mixers, fashion shows and sporting events 3-4 times per year. Many prominent business owners, athletes and celebrities have already jumped on board and ADOH looks forward to all the possibilities the future holds.
